Pedal to Survive

Four women. One city that never sleeps. A ₦60 million race nobody is supposed to know about.
Every lap pays for someone they love.

Enter Lagos ↓Lagos doesn’tsleep. Neitherdo they.
Ace races to pay for her mother’s care. Neka rides for her baby daughter, Chisom, and rides alone. Zee keeps three younger siblings fed and safe. Tara is buried in student loans.
Together they are the Black Vixens. When Tara’s friend Amani brings word of a secret ₦60 million Midnight Race, the city opens a door that does not close.
Somewhere across Lagos, Zikora is being held by a man they only call Him, over a debt that was never hers. And someone is already watching the four of them.

House of Zhavora Studios
A Caribbean-American film studio. Jamaican and Bahamian heritage. An American address. Cinema made at sound-system volume.
The studio works with the heat of a dancehall poster, the colour discipline of Junkanoo and the patience of a film set. It points that energy at West Africa. Its first series, Pedal to Survive, is set in Lagos, Nigeria, and built to look like nothing else on your screen.

Pedal to Survive is built from surfaces brands can live on: bikes, leathers, wardrobe, hair, the city at night. We integrate partners into the world of the show, in frame and in story, not in a corner of it.
